While in Ireland she encounters nothing but obstacle after obstacle. However, she is lucky enough to stumble into a young man who helps her along the way. She does not realize it at the time that this man is actually trying to help her. The young woman attempts to push him away and hold her head high. Yet as the movie progresses he slowly starts to get to her.

This is simply the result of spending a significant amount of time with another kind person when you have truly hit a low point and feel completely helpless. However, he was not there to push her back down while she was out but simply to hold her hand and help her along the way. This is an extremely kind gesture when this woman is on this long journey for another man.

This movie posses the ability to force you to prioritize your life. Sometimes we all get so wrapped up in silly materialistic items that we forget what really matters most. Having someone to love who truly loves you make may be the only real things that matter. Whatever else we acquire along the way is simply extra.

In the end you will find it difficult to keep your eyes off of this film. More people will recommend this movie than not to all of their friends and family. If you enjoy a romantic film that both you and your partner will enjoy this is truly the right selection.

The Panama Canal Work Isn't Finished

Built in the 1800s, the Panama Canal is a ship canal constructed to improve maritime trade. It bridges the Pacific and Atlantic oceans in order to shorten the distance cargo ships need travel. While this is typically a good thing for business, it may now be getting better as a new project aimed at expanding the canal has been proposed by the Panama Canal Authority.

The project goes by the name of the Third Set of Locks Project. This name is related to one of its goals, which is to construct lock complexes at both the Atlantic and Pacific ends of the canal. These lock systems are aimed at resolving the water preservation issues which have come up in the past with the canal's continued use. The Panama Canal Authority also aims to not only construct additional access channels to the canal but widen those that already exist. These channels will all also had their depth increased when the project has finished.

The work of expanding the canal is classified as a mega project. This means its construction and completion could deeply impact both nearby communities as well as the environment. Not only that, but it is also expected to cost more than one billion US dollars. A great deal of public attention has been drawn to the project as a result of its scope.

Work on the project commenced as of September 2007, with a completion date set sometime in the year 2015. As already mentioned there has been significant publicity and talk as a result, with a fair amount of it being positive. The project does indeed have many potential benefits not only to those who use the canal but to the country of Panama itself. For one, it is anticipated that the project will pay for itself in due time and then begin providing its investors with a substantial rate of return.

Along with its profitability, the canal expansion project is expected to reduce poverty within Panama. This will be a result of the need for labor of all kinds being necessary in order to complete the project. Some have claimed that the reduction will be as high as 30%. Of course it is also believed that improving the channels and traffic capacity of the canal will bring in higher revenues from tolls.

The improved cargo capacity of the canal could also mean an increase in profits for those involved in maritime trade. This profit margin could very well affect the country again as well as more and larger cargo ships move through its waters. As mentioned before, however, this image of a parade of cargo ships has also spurred environmental concerns.

Those spearheading the project believe that the expansion will not do any significant or lasting damage to the environment. The areas in which the expansion is proposed to take place are currently controlled by the Panama Canal Authority itself. This means that it is their own buildings or work areas which will be affected, which suggests that no communities will need to be moved or harmed. It is also a point of the project to mitigate the expansion's environmental impact by installing the lock system mentioned before.

lots of people all over the world smoked themselves in to oblivion watching Cheech and Chong movies when they were young. Pot heads everywhere have waited for decades for Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin to work together again and now they have finally satisfied the fans. The stage show has been turned in to a movie of sorts with behind the scenes interviews. It proves they have lost none of the characteristics that made us laugh so much. It is bound to make you wonder why they ever stopped working as a pair. Tommy Chong does offer up one answer to that question as he says "you can't make a rich Mexican work". Obviously their success meant that they had no need or inclination to continue with what they were doing.

Something that will be a revelation is the wife of Tommy Chong who was a co-star In the original movies. Her style of comedy is very funny and she has a real stage presence that begs the question why hasn't she done more solo work?

When you see Tommy on stage it's easy to see where she gets it from because he has great comedy timing. There are some scenes that will blow you away whether you were a fan from years ago or you have just come across them. The hardest thing when trying to tell get across what is good about something like this is not giving away the jokes or stories.

Without going in to detail, Tommy's tales of when he was but in jail for selling bong pipes are definitely not to be missed. He certainly has some interesting views on the legal system and the way in which judges operate. His take on the book of creation from the bible is refreshingly original and can only be put down to years of drug use.

Cheech we all know a little better these days as he has had much success working in many Hollywood blockbusters over the years. He is a very funny man on stage and just like Tommy, he has his own brand of comedy style. In this performance he plays through some of his old routines to huge applause and demonstrations of appreciation from the audience.

It's never as entertaining though as when they are both on stage together. It's a travesty that these two have not worked side by side for so long. Fans that see this will surely want to see them repeat the performance in more venues than just San Antonio where this was filmed.

There is a definite connection with the fans that is hard to get in this day and age. Not everyone will like them but that's the whole point. Holy Rollers is another look at the classic struggle to make one's own way in life. It was inspired by true events in the 1990s in New York, when orthodox Jews were acting as mules to smuggle the drug ecstasy into the US from Europe. However, the story line and characters are fictional. Introduced at the Sundance Film Festival early this year, it is now in the movie theaters and will come out on DVD in October 2010.

The hero is Sam Gold, a young Hasidic Jew growing up in Brooklyn and being trained as a rabbi. His father hopes to arrange a good match for him, one that will raise him above the poverty his family has known. As the boy grows older, he shows an aptitude for business which his family firmly discourages.

Sam is a young man nearing the future orchestrated by his family - becoming a Rabbi and marrying into a wealthy family that agrees to improve his fortunes for the honor of having a rabbi in the family. Sam, however, finds that he is more interested in the family business than in the continual study and devotion to religion that his life entails.

With his equally innocent friend, Sam unwittingly becomes a mule, for the medicine is actually the illegal street drug ecstasy. Once he realizes what is going on, he faces the choice of returning to his restricted and impoverished life of religious study or go willingly into the world of criminal drug dealers.

The Israeli dealer who is Sam's new boss recognizes the recruit's instinct for business, and the young man is soon rising up in the trade, eventually causing jealousy in other employees, recruiting others as innocent as he once was, and even trying ecstasy for himself. For a time he is able to lead a double life, but his family and his community finally act on their suspicions and turn against him.

Sam is unable to keep his clandestine activities from his family and his community. As the life of his childhood unravels, he becomes closer to the new people in his life, only to realize that they are embroiled in conflict and despair that he cannot resolve. His own conflict is whether to turn back to the old life or continue down a road he now knows leads to destruction.

The decisions the maturing youth must make, and the dangers he faces as he does so, are the climax of this emotional thriller. It is rated R and has received both good and bad reviews in almost equal number; more of those who have seen it give it a thumbs up than the number of those who do not recommend it.

The title uses a term, once coined to be derisive, for pentecostal Christians who became 'carried away' or ecstatic during worship. Lets start with the plot though. These boys meet each other when they play basketball. Back in 2003, there was much talk about WMD's, weapons of mass destructions in Iraq. Matt Damon plays a character in Green Zone who leads a troupe into Iraq during this time period in order to locate the WMS's only to find drama and intrigue, much like his famed Bourne series of movies. The Bourne movies were spy thrillers and this movie is a war drama and packs action at every turn. The colorful title refers to the Emerald City that was set up near former leader Saddam Hussein's Place where much of the trouble begins and ends.

Washington Post chief correspondent, onetime only, Rajiv Chandrasekaran penned a book by the same name and this movie is loosely based on that book. Chandrasekaran was witness to the American troupes as they attempted to put in a temporary government for the people of Iraq on the grounds of Hussein's crumbling palace. Unfortunately, critics have said that this new government was built in a bubble, far from the actual needs of the Iraq War and this could only mean failure. They were not meeting the needs of the people that needed to be served in the country, something many believed the US did not want.

The actual United States-led occupation of Bagdad is the bases for this fictional movie that spares no expense on all the thrilling drama. Director Paul Greengrass, who directed United 93 about the flight that went down in Pennsylvania on 9-11, and his screenwriting partner, Brian Helgeland used the book written by Chandrasekaran as a jumping off point for their movie. This movie tells the story of Damon's character, an officer, who links up with a CIA agent, Brendon Gleeson from Beowulf and In Burges, to search for evidence that the country is hiding weapons of mass destructions. Gleeson's character is a senior CIA bureau member but can only help Damon's character so much.

Cast in the role of the New York Times foreign correspondent is Amy Ryan from the Office and Gone Baby Gone. She has traveled to Iraq to look into the accusations being lobbied from the US about the weapons of mass destruction. Greg Kennear of late night talk show fame and recently The Last Song, makes a special appearance as another CIA agent who is trying to spin the story to his liking and not necessarily to the truth or as the reporter might see things.

Damon's character can only find out the source of Ryan's information is Magellan and he hunts everywhere for the identity of this secret name. But Ryan is a true journalist and will not give up her source so it says as Magellan and the weapon's of mass destructions remains a mystery. Damon's character will even confront Ryan's character about her sources but she holds fast to her journalistic convictions and will not reveal them. This only proves to thicken the plot.

Damon's character does not give up and keeps going even though he is being feed faulty Intel and someone is playing with covert operations. Damon's character will come up empty handed, time and time again. There seems to be so much information out there that Damon's character is not allowed to see and sometimes, when he gets close, he also gets caught in a gun battle only to fight his way out. Even people in his own unit are telling him to let it go. Damon's a good solider and determined to do the right thing for America and the people of Iraq so he carries on.

It becomes clear that Damon's character's quest for the truth is the most valuable weapon of all when he's kidnapped and then escapes in a battle-royal against several men. What he finds out after this is that Kinnear's character has been working against him and not with him. With this part cleared up, there are still several unanswered questions.

Many questions will be answered by the end of the film, such as will Damon's character help a rouge regimen clear up their act or will the escalading violence continue to climb in such an unstable condition as to become a prelude to second movie? The Green Zone should be seen by everyone and anyone who enjoys suspense, war and intrigue in their movies. There has been a considerable push in recent years for vampire media in different modes to be brought to light, no pun intended. The interesting thing, is that this might be the most frenzied people have ever been about vampire stories and programming. While this is all the case, it had become difficult for storytellers to give us something new and unique that was unlike something that was heard before. The film "Daybreakers" was able to do this.

This is a film that has taken an age old tale about vampires and put a spin on it unlike anything that has been seen in vampire cinema to date. He is technically the leader of the group and he retells the events of how he managed to turn human again from having been a vampire.

Edward Dalton is so intrigued by this possibility that he attempts it several times on himself, which eventually works. The process involves exposing the vampire to direct sunlight for a short period of time. This is enough to get the blood pumping again and the heart beating. Now, the vampire is a human once more.

Before he is able to do this, you learn that this blood in the new human is different. It has the power to change the vampire drinking it human as well. So Dalton has a showdown with his boss, Charles Bromley to tell him about his new cure. In anger, Bromley bites him and is turned back into a vampire.
