England is a blend of beauty, aristocracy and adventure. If you wan to visit England, then thee are many things for you to see nad do out there. Right from Big Ben and the magnificent castles to the mystifying beaches, there are so many things that England has to offer.

Lake District boasts of its natural beauty with its beautiful lakes, hills and tiny villages. This is a wonderful holiday destination and picnic spot. Windermire in lake District is the largest lake in England. The city of York is also equally good. There are a lot of old buildings and streets in York. York Minster is a famous and magnificent church here. Chester is a small town with its city walls .It is also an ideal place for shopping.

For the scholar to visit, we have the city of Oxford. It is an old town with old buildings and the famous Oxford University. For the music buff, we have Liverpool which is the home town of the Beatles. Newcastle upon Tyne is famous for its beautiful bridges, buildings and shopping zones. During Christmas time, one must surely visit Greenwich which takes pride in its restaurants and Christmas market. Cambridge is well known for the University. Nottingham is famous for the Nottingham castle. The Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire has historical links when the battle of Blenheim took place. Manchester has links to the Victorian age with its museums, art galleries and buildings that date back to that age. It is also famous for the Manchester ship canal. Manchester city also boasts of the largest football club in the world.

In England, you can get to visit many heritage sites. The Tower of London is a magnificent tourist spot built on the river Thames. The historical Canterbury Cathedral has been a place of pilgrimage since the ages . Another famous historical place is the Westminster Abbey in London. The Buckingham Palace, British Museum and the Kensington Palace are the other well known places to visit in London. Westminster Palace in London is well known for the Big Ben.Bath is a well known place for the Roman Baths. Dover is famous as a port and also for the dover castle. Salisbury is famous for the Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge. Lincoln is another small town famous for the Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle.

England is also a haven for sport lovers. The Barclays Premier League is well known in the sphere of football. There are also a number of golf courses and events. Cricket is played with equal passion out here. For food lovers, England has burgers and beverages such as tea and beer. - 39815
